Improvising on the guitar using D chord - Part 1

One of the early ways you can make your guitar chord playing is by adding a finger to the basic chord shape. In this guitar video I demonstrate the 2 main options you can use with the D chord. You can use this technique with almost any guitar chord. Start with the chords of A, Am and E.

These easy chords will let you embellish the chords with the adding of the little finger.

In the second video in this set I show how you can further improve your guitar playing by removing a finger from the chord shape.
